Character's Name: Orion Armstrong
Character's Age: 26
Gender: male
Race/Class: Human/King of Rahn
Character's History/Background: The Armstrongs had been a royal family for countless years. A large family, they were not only known as wise kings and queens, but also heroes and champions of the people. Orion was born the son of King Alexander Armstrong and Queen Layla Armstrong. His father knew the day he was born that Orion was destined for greatness. Enlisting him under the care of several world-renowned masters and scholars, Orion became both a bright student and a well-trained warrior. His tutors were not just human, Orion trained beneath a dragoon captain, a wiley anthromorph(childhood friend of the king), and even a retired(or rather banished) shinobi. At the age of 15, he was already being sent out on royal missions to help the people, anything from feeding a starving village to slaying a monster that plagued the populace. Three years later, for his 18th birthday, his father presented him with the Ragnarok sword, Orion's birthright. With this legendary blade, Orion's fame grew, and soon, he had gained the title "The Champion of Humans". He travelled the land, rarely having time to return home. He defeated evil wherever he found it, nearly losing his life several times in the process, but always emerging triumphant. He remained a symbol for anyone he helped, and his name was well known throughout the land.
And then, the wars broke out. Orion naturally fought for his race, becoming a general in his father's army. He was in the middle of a campaign when he heard the horrible news...his father had been killed, making him the heir to the throne. Making sure his father's death was not in vain, Orion ignored all advice and ventured into the shinobi main village alone. It was there that he put an end to the fighting and thus finally concluded the war that had plagued the world for almost five years. Now that the war was over, Orion had new duties as king of a surviving nation. After meeting with the leaders of the other races, he returned to the newly built Rahn and thus became it s new leader. He rules with as much wisdom and understanding as his ancestors once did, despite his relative lack of years. He has the trust of many, and the hope of an entire race.
Character's Personality: A natural born leader(though he will never admit it), Orion inspires strength in those he is around. He believes in those that stand by his side and rewards loyalty with his own. He is one of the youngest rulers in Vaenon's history, thus he is still relatively outgoing and social. He is kind to those that deserve kindness, and merciless to those with evil intent. He does his best to appear tireless and strong for his people, but on the inside, he is a young man who has been robbed of his own life in order to keep the human race from anarchy.
Character's Appearance: Spiky blonde hair that never seems to straighten. Lean, muscular build which hides his enourmous strength. These days, he wears a more modern outfit(as shown in sig), though he still wears a few patches of armour whenever he leaves the castle. His eyes are ice blue and he stands at about 6'1".
Anything special: Orion has inherited the superhuman strength of the Armstrong family. With it, he is able to wield the legendary blade of his family, the Ragnarok. This enourmous sword has been passed down through generations and has served each wielder well. Much is unknown about the Ragnarok blade, but the sword, which is larger than most men stand tall, definately holds magical properties. Only Orion seems to be able to lift the sword, much less wield it. Also, he has incredible stamina. Even after taking a beating, he will continue to fight, making him a forminable foe no matter who or what he faces.
Weaknesses/Strengths: His greatest weakness is his kindness. He is not pushed around easily, but sometimes, he may be decieved while trying to help someone who seems in need. Luckily, even if he is tricked, he can usually fight his way out of any situation. Orion prefers hand-to-hand combat, for he only knows a few spells taught to him by an old mage.(he likes to keep these as a last resort).
