(For current even purposes, this is taking place before David confronts Seraphiel)
A sigh escaped from a man's lips. He was standing over the well, looking at the water as if expecting something to come out of it. It was indeed a beautiful site as it was also a fountain of sorts. However, David wasn't standing there to make a wish for world peace or anything like that. In fact, he had decided to revisit the location for its museum. It was here that he found out more about himself. Though that was a few years ago.
"Hoping to find more about yourself here?" Bahamut whispered mentally into the dragoon's mind. The two considered themselves closer than friends and practically family. Though in truth the two had no blood relation of any sort and simply had the same views and feelings on different subjects. One of them is having a zero tolerance for those that would slaughter the innocent especially if they were weaker. A strong sense of chivalry existed within the brown haired man.
With his swords by his side, he crossed his arms across his chest. In deep thought to answer the dragon. Though nothing came. "No, I'm not here for that." David replied, "I don't think there is anything else for me to find here. I guess I'm just readying myself."
"So that's why you've been traveling so much within these last months? You feel that there might be a chance that you may not return to see these lands at peace once more."
"No." David mentally replied and letting a cuckle break his lips, "I'm positive that you won't let me die."
"Indeed that is true. After all, it is sort of my obligation. Though I feel unrest in you and something tells me that you feel something is missing in your life. That is understandable, but don't worry. You'll find that in time." the dragon replied in a kind voice. David smiled to himself. He appreciated it when the dragon spoke and comforted him. Though sometimes it failed, the king of dragons understood humans emotion just about as much as a human could, though there were times that he questioned David's actions because of those emotions.

She knew that it was time to find in life where she stood and test how much of an adult she truly was. Her mother kept urging her to go out and find adventure, to use what she was capable of to explore the world. As unsafe as it was, Diviana didn't care much. She was too hard headed to let things like that phase her. And it was saddening for her mother, who had brought many boys to meet Diviana and failed at the attempt. She wasn't looking for a relationship, and the guys were intimidated. She could tell by just looking at them.
Finally, after days of walking and seeing things Diviana could hardly imagine in her life, she figured it was time to take a break and get to know a place for much longer than an hour.
"You shouldn't be so passive towards men, Diviana. Some of those guys could've made a great step in your life for the better, but now you'd never know that."
Diviana sighed as she sat at a Well, ignoring whoever was around. She knew Avriane was a very outspoken dragon, and Diviana merely laughed to herself. "You know, those guys were probably as tough as their younger sisters. I don't need a man in my life right now, so let's keep that personal, shall we?" She replied mentally, and she knew that Avriane had no choice, but to be quiet.
"What about that brown haired man sitting across from you? He looks like he's your complete opposite, plus he's very good looking. I'm sure he'd give you a chance, without any special abilities.
Diviana turned her head to look at him, although he was very good looking she still wasn't interested. She began stroking her long black hair that was being held up by a emerald green head-band.
"No thanks, like I said before. Leave that type of stuff to me, okay?

David was about to speak once again to the dragon, but was cut off by Bahamut. "Someone is here." the dragon king spoke within the dragoon's own mind. David slightly tensed up but not enough to show it publicly. His right hand grasping at the hilt of the sword that hanged from his left hip. He didn't know which blade it was, but either or it would serve it's purpose.
He scanned everything before him and saw nothing that stood out. He casually turned around keeping his hand lightly around the hilt of the blade that he would use. Eventually, he saw nothing of immediate danger. It was odd, however, usually the dragon only warned him of such things when there was danger or when another dragoon was near. Since there wasn't any sort of danger that David could see, he decided that it must be another dragoon. But who?
His blue eyes scanning over everyone that was walking by, but nothing that seemed out of the ordinary. At least until he saw the young woman that was stroking her own black hair. He relaxed himself and his hand was removed from his blade. The woman was a beautiful site to behold and David found the most odd attraction to this woman. However, he shook his head and then turned to face the fountain once again.
"It's so stupid." he spoke to himself perhaps a bit louder than what he should, "The girl is probably ten years younger than me. How could someone like that look for another that's not their own age or younger than me?"
"You're not that old you know." Bahamut spoke in his booming voice, "Besides, I believe that she is the dragoon that I am sensing and a rather rare type of dragon accompanies her as well." David sighed at this and decided to turn and face the direction of the dark haired woman once again.

She heard a voice come from the man, but could barely make out what he had said. She could feel his eyes on her, but ignored it and continued stroking her hair. "He possesses a dragon spirit like you, Diviana. I'm sure he's more than capable of handling a woman of your stature." Diviana knew there was something different about him, but she couldn't dare allow herself to become involved with someone. She didn't have the time, exploring the world took up most of her time.
"Yes, but even if I was to try and work something out with him, or anyone for that matter, it would be to hard to maintain, so I'd rather not."
She could feel the aggravation well up inside the dragon spirit, Avriane. She tried so hard to find Diviana a companion, someone she could have to help her keep her spirit high.
"He's watching you right now, why don't you turn around and look him in the eye if you're as brave as you say you are."
Diviana let out a chuckle, what was looking him in the eye going to prove? But she didn't realize that Avriane was trying to see if the two were to make eye contact whether or not a connection would be made. Being foolish and gullible to Avriane's persistancy, she turned her head and her green eyes met with his. She blushed almost instantly not expecting for him to really be watching her.
"Oh, you're in for it you are..."

David saw the woman look at him and then blush. Some color appeared on his face too, but probably not as much as hers. There was certain instinct that was just telling him to sweep her away and make her his. But that wasn't who he was and he wasn't that type of person. However, engaging one in conversation isn't that bad of idea...or at least he thought. So he approached her.
Within several strides he was infront of the woman that was stroking her hair. He found it difficult to speak or to even form the words that he was going to be using. He let out a small sigh before addressing her. "Hello." he spoke nearly inaudible.
"Speak up!" Bahamut shouted within his own head.
"Hi." David repeated the greeting more clearly than before. However, he hadn't thought much beyond the one word. "Um, is that seat taken?" he asked refering to the spot next to her. At a glance she was beautiful, but with a closer look she was prettier than David really took in. Her body was nigh prefection to him. Her long hair and dark eyes only complemented her and this was when he realized that he was being such a fool.

To Diviana's dismay, and Avriane's pleasure, the young man had finally walked up to her. But she noticed that he too hadn't been as keen to speak to her. He muttered a word, that of which sounded like 'Hello', but Divana merely eyed him in confusion. Than he spoke again, this time a little louder and clearer.
"Hi." She arched her head and looked the other way before turning back to him. "Um, is that seat taken?" She wanted to tell him that he was simply stupid for asking a question like that and he should probably go and find some ditsy girl, but she couldn't find the words.
"No, not at all. Feel free."
She let go of her hair, and it fell down almost touching the ground, but the head-band had held it up. "Very surprising, indeed Diviana." She watched him, and it was more than obvious he was taking in her appearance, she could tell that look from anywhere. But she once again couldn't be that evil outspoken girl she always was.

David nodded and sat down next to her. His hands wrapped around each other while he was leaning forward. He closed his eyes attempting to think on anything except for this woman, but something prevented him from doing so. It wasn't his dragon that was doing it either. Something was just bothering him and all he could think about was her. He tried to bring up so many things but nothing seemed to work. He finally let out another soft sigh before leaning back in the seat and his arms to his side.
"I'm David Draconis." he spoke introducing himself and then offering a hand to shake hers with. "Smooth thinking there bucko." he thought to himself. This woman more than likely thought more negative of him than anything else. He didn't know what the hell that he was doing and everything just seemed to slow down for some reason. He was confused and befuddled. He couldn't tell you what was going to happen next or what he was going to say, he just sat there waiting for the woman to speak.

She slumped her shoulders, confused with her own actions. She could feel a warmth well up inside her, possibly from Avriane. His name was David Draconis, and he appeared to be somewhat different from some of the others she had met, but she was as stubborn as ever.
"Give him a chance, Diviana. At least introduce yourself, there is nothing wrong with small talk, woman!"
"I'm Diviana. Diviana Leporne." She eyed his hand, and after a moment, shook it firmly. She let go, folded her arms, and forced herself not to smile. She had already taken notice that he was by far different from the other guys she had become acquainted with, but she was hesitant.
She hated the idea that she might have to be weighed down by her emotions. If she kept to herself, she could explore the world. Wouldn't have to worry about anyone or anything, only herself. She knew that someday she would need to find a possible companion, but she wasn't ready just yet.

"Leporne." Bahamut repeated to David. It sounded as if the dragon spirit was musing over the name and then he found the answer. "She is indeed a dragoon. The last name says it. Though the Leporne I remember was also a woman and a female dragon did accompany her. The dragon is one of death and decay. Though that might sound as if evil, by no means is that true. Do not fear her magic boy, you have me to protect you from that."
"A pleasure to meet you, Lady Leporne." David replied after listening to the thoughts that Bahamut had relayed to him. "So could ya mind telling someone such as I as to why you are doing out here? Not many people come here."
He shifted his position so that he was in a more comfortable one. One that would allow him to easily talk with her and keep eye contact along with remaining courtly. David didn't really know what to call it, but he was slowly forming a relationship for this woman. But those were based off of different urges and something that he desired more than those was getting to know who this fair dragooness is.
