Character's Name:Enseth
Character's Age:23
Gender:Male
Race/Class: Samurai
Character's History/Background(be as detailed as possible):
Diedriel, a man who tried to take over The Word, had many servants at his beck and call. The most notable of his servants were the chimeras, three-headed beasts that spewed vicious gas and dealt gory wounds with their sharp teeth. These monsters formed the core of Diedriel's force as they caused death, destruction, and mayhem before his fall at the unity of the rest of The World. However, the mighty chimeras were not the only forces that Diedriel was planning to unleash in his fiery conquest. For it was known to very few that Diedriel had a son.
While it could be reasoned that who in their right mind would have a relationship with this monstrosity, the fact remains that his son was not born, but rather made from an embryo that was planned to be grown into an unspeakable creature. Before Diedriel was defeated by those who stood against him, he used the remaining hearts and energy he had to fuse the embryo which he had enhanced with his thoughts and personality into a inconspicuous suit of armor. But before he could wear the armor, he heard his enemies approach his location. With a quick smile, he sent his remaining forces to hide the armor, and scatter false duplicates of it around the nation, laughing manically as he turned to face his opponents for the final confrontation.
After Diedriel's defeat, the armor lay quiet for many years, hidden in its undisclosed location. The decoy armors were found and destroyed, which secured the safety of the real armor as it lay in wait for a wearer. Diedriel hoped that whoever wore the armor would be possessed by his dominating personality, his true spirit no longer of this world. So while the entity in the armor wasn't Diedriel, it was a being with coldness and cruelty that could only match its creator. It would only be a matter of time before that dreaded armor would be worn, it’s powers unleashed upon The World.
And that time came with a warrior by the name of Enseth, a samurai who kept a low-profile, but abhorred the katana for the more graceful saber, a new type of weapon that was rarely seen in The Word. Despite his unorthodox choice of arms, he was known by those who knew him to be a powerful paladin at heart instead of rank, wandering through the world to smite evil, becoming the incarnate of fear to those who committed their sins, knowing death for them lay at the touch of his purifying sword. It would be his zealousness, however that would be his undoing.
Through his personal crusades, Enseth eventually stumbled upon the armor through rumors of a powerful evil artifact, falling backwards from the evil that emanated from it. Stunned momentarily, Enseth was horrified as the armor began to animate as though someone was inside of it, being even more horrified as it sprung towards him. Despite his efforts to manage a defense with the power of Light, the will of Diedriel was too great and the armor disassembled and quickly latched on to his body, destroying everything he wore as his rapier of light became corrupted almost instantly.
The clash of wills resulting from this unlikely bonding proved to be a great mistake for Diedriel that he did not foresee with the armor’s creation. While he wanted the armor to only bond with a powerful warrior, he didn't have time to specify that the armor should only bond with evil beings. Thus, the good mind of Enseth fought bitterly against the dominating and cruel personality of the armor. The screams Enseth emitted as his mind and ego were ripped to shreds would render anyone deaf as his sanity struggled to repel the vicious onslaught. The two personalities fought for days on end with one struggling to overcome the other. But the end result produced an effect that neither side could imagine.
For within the struggles of the two personalities, the goodness of Enseth prevailed, causing the essence of Diedriel to be purged from its being. However, the great evil that still remained inside of the armor crushed the exhausted mind of Enseth, purging his personality almost completely. In the end, this new personality would be a new being, the focus and purity of a paladin with the savagery and evil of Diedriel. With both original personalities completely erased, the new Enseth rose from the ground and set forth, having no memories of his past life as he was now destined for good, or for ill.
Character's Personality: The union of the two personalities has given Enseth the attitude where onlookers will see him as a complete badass with total disregard for anyone and everything. He always reeks of evil and generates quite a corrupting aura that anyone within his presence will feel. Most people will assume he is evil automatically and will react appropriately, which Enseth does not mind. Though he enjoys killing for pleasure and entertainment, he does not seek to take over The World, or to purge it of all life, instead, his goals are living life to the fullest in battle and bloodshed, with intelligent insight along the way.
He also has a soft spot for children, never killing them unless provoked or when he is dominated by evil
Character's Appearance: The armor Enseth wears is jet black and appears to be full plate latched so tightly on Enseth that onlookers would think it is a part of him (which it is) making him appear to be about six feet tall in height. Enseth does not wear a helmet, instead, wearing a tight fitting executioner's hood that also appears to be a part of his body, only revealing that he has dark brown eyes through the slits of the mask. If the armor and hood would be removed, it would appear that Enseth is a stunningly beautiful being but that day will probably never come to pass as the armor can only be removed with his death.
Anything special: The armor Enseth wears is a permanent part of his body, which can only be removed through death or through certain special means, permanently preserving the host body. Embedded with the essence of its creator, the armor contains a hidden vorpal whip in the left gauntlet, which is designed to trip the opponent and can slice through magical barriers. The gauntlets of the armor can also spew a noxious green gas that gives its victims an instant, deadlier version of leprosy, the symptoms starting immediately. Enseth's trademark saber has been magically bound to the armor, preventing him from being disarmed and allowing him to hide the rapier within the armor so that he may surprise his foes. The armor itself is also quite durable and allows Enseth to sense an opponent's actions by sensing their blood. He can also use this sense so that his rapier and whip "seek" onto his opponents through their blood.
Enseth is also an amazing saber user, being able to combine his techniques with some lingering abilities of the armor that were bound to it by Diedriel. A notable one is where Enseth impales his opponent and then causes the blood around the saber to explode (It's like watching someone take a hit point blank with an overpowered shotgun)
Weaknesses/Strengths: Enseth is a living nightmare when it comes to the world of combat but sometimes, one of his key personalities, the light side or the dark side, will suddenly sweep a hold of him under times of extreme duress. This will either cause Enseth to recall his past life of a paladin or to recall some random memories of Diedriel. Physically, this stuns Enseth for a short time, giving his opponents a chance to strike him.
