1. Respect your admins! We've worked hard to make this site for you, so please return the favor by listening to what we tell you!
2. Respect your fellow roleplayers! If it seems like something you are saying or doing is offending other members, then cut it out!
3. No one-line posts! Especially important while in character, try and make your posts as detailed as possible. Nobody is expecting you to write a novel, but at least put enough for whomever you are rping with to respond to.
4. No God-modding! I dont want to see: "Jack punched Jill in the face, making her fall with a bleeding nose" What is more appropriate is: "Jack threw a punch at Jill, aiming for her face". This gives Jill time to respond to the punch, and its up to her to decide whether it connects or not.
5. Leave OOC in the OOC boards It is very annoying to be reading or even posting in a thread where the person decides to have a full conversation as well as an rp conversation. DO NOT DO THIS. You may post ((Gotta Run)), ((OK back)). Leave it simple when you are actually posting in a board. Also there is PM for OOC!!
6. If you want a certain person to reply to your thread then TAG it. If you only want a certain person to respond then you need to put that in the thread. This way other posters know it is a private thread.
IE: Final Battle (Orion only)
Power Struggle (Orion and Ana)
That way everyone will understand that it's a private thread. If you want to join a private thread you must ask for permission to the one who started.
If someone jumps in a private thread, feel free to report him to an admin, If you want.
7. If your thread includes a sex theme it must be marked as such. There are people that get on sites while at work and do not want to get in trouble for reading a naughty thread so now it must be tagged.
Example: Thread Title: Alone (RPG-17)
Thread Title2: Alone (sexual theme)
Thread Title3: Alone (NC - 17)
If you do not do this, the thread will become locked and you will no longer be able to continue the thread.
8. If you are in a thread with 3 or more people you need to get a posting order down. You cannot continue to post with just two people if the third person is missing unless they give you permission. It is difficult for a person to continue a thread when they have missed five pages. It isn’t fair to that person that was in the thread. So when you are in a thread with multiple characters, you need to WAIT YOUR TURN. The only exception of course is if you get the permission from the person you wish to post over to continue without them until they can jump back in(though try and avoid this please)
9. Please dont post in character until your character's profile has been accepted, just in case there is something about your character that needs to be fixed/cleared up.
10. While there are various classes and races in RPH, we try to keep a balance between them. Nobody is invincible, so try and show your character's mortality a little, be realistic!
11. For Signatures, do not use an image that is longer than 600px and/or taller than 300px. Aka the largest possible signature should be no more than 600X300px. There may be exceptions, but if you recieve a warning about your signature, please change it asap. This prevents pages from loading too slowly due to large images and it makes threads load much quicker.
Violation of any rule results in a warning through pm. Breaking a rule a second time results in a temporary ban. Further violations may result in expulsion.
