Character's Name: Nagashi Mizu
Character's Age:Looks to be around his early twenties, actual age: 999 years old.
Gender:male
Race/Class:shinobi
Character's History/Background(be as detailed as possible):
I did not come into this world as one normally would. I was created by a being known as Darigaan, a being whos race was responsible for the origins of every other race known today. These beings were simply known as "Creators", and it is with them that my story begins.
Just as the dragon race began to rebel against their Creator, Darigaan was just finishing his "design" for the race he wished to bring into existance. Immensely fascinated with the magic that radiated invisibly amongst the world and it's inhabitants, he decided to make a race that could tap into these unseen forces and use them to their will. He wanted a race that understood the vast power that could be unlocked from these magics, and yet also hold the knowledge of what kinds of destruction such magic could unleash if not used properly. Darigaan's end result was me, the very first [/color]shinobi He gave me my first name, Nagashi, which in his language I learned meant "first". I immediately upon being created inquired as to why I had been brought to life, asking, "what is my purpose?". Darigaan merely smiled and said "To exist".
And so, I existed. I followed Darigaan throughout his travels for a few years, observing the arrivals of other races which had been brought into being by other Creators like Darigaan. After me, Darigaan created others like myself, more shinobi for which to create a new race. I preferred the company of Darigaan over these new shinobi, thus at first my interactions with the rest of my kind were few and far between. I learned much from him, and in turn I somehow taught him a few things.
Eventually, when the Creators banded together in order to eradicate the dragon race, which had grown too powerful to control, Darigaan had to leave his created shinobi to their own devices. Although he wished for me to remain with them while he fought, I requested to fight alongside him instead. Using the abilities he had given me, I assisted him and the other Creators in eradicating the dragon race. Unfortunately, this also resulted in many casualties on the Creator side. In the final battle, Darigaan was inflicted a mortal wound. No amount of Creator magic, nor my own, could save him.
Before he died, Darigaan drew me to his side, explaining that I had surpassed his expectations. He told me that I was the future of the shinobi race, and that in order to continue his legacy, I would be charged with the responsability of protecting them. For his final act, he grasped my hands and transferred a large amount of his remaining power into me. His knowledge became mine, and with that, Darigaan passed from this world...
And so I returned to my own kind, never forgetting what Darigaan had asked of me. I introduced myself to the current leaders of the shinobi and told them of my purpose. With my wisdom, I helped them to shape the culture of the shinobi that one can observe today. It was my suggestion that in order to protect the shinobi and preserve their ways of life, seclusion was a must. Thus, throughout history, the other races knew very little of the shinobi and their existance.
I also inherited the Creator's long life. While I was not immortal, the magic imparted into me made my body unable to age. Thus, aside from a few scars formed from the Dragon-Creator war(including the more noticeable one upon my right eye, which became the same color as Darigaan's the day he died), I have looked the same for centuries. Because of this everlasting life, I have been able to look after the shinobi people from century to century.
I could go into detail about my life amongst the shinobi, but I have been amongst them for so long it would take several lifetimes to describe. I have done my best to remain neutral in many shinobi affairs throughout the years. I am satisfied that I have managed to set up most of the culture that the shinobi follow even today, and I have no interest in leading them, although I have been offered the position of Hokage numerous times. There have been a few occaisions where I dissapear completely in order to allow others of my race to carry out their own decisions, for example those made during the recent Human-Shinobi wars.
Now that it is a time of peace, I have returned to the main village, Mizukage, although I am again trying to lead a normal life. These days I carry out the will of the current Mizukage Hokage. If there is a mission to do, I go on it as ordered. As far as most shinobi are concerned, I am just as normal as anyone else. Little do they know I have been watching over them and their ancestors for centuries, and that is just fine with me.
Character's Personality:Fairly quiet, Nagashi doesnt speak to many people other than the current Hokage. He does have his cheery side, although it is usually only seen when he is doing the things he enjoys. He constantly feels as though he is always one step behind the current generation and their trends, customs, etc.
Character's Appearance: Silver/white hair, lightly tanned skin. Stands at a rough 6'1. His build is relatively impressive, despite his lean frame. Nagashi's body never ages, therefore he looks the same as the day he was created. At times, he wears a traditional ANBU mask, which is often shaped like a fox's face. Also, more often than not, he is seen with a black silk mask covering his lips and neck. His right eye is red with a black pupil, a memento of Darigaan given to him the day the Creator died.
Anything special: He is immortal in the sense that he never ages. It is said that one day when all Creator magic has vanished from Vaenon, he will cease to exist, but so far it has not happened yet. He is most skilled with the element of water, knowing several jutsus that are entirely unique to himself (or to those he has taught).
Weaknesses/Strengths: He is strongest when around any sort of water source. If he somehow wound up in a place such a desert or any other place devoid of water, he would weaken considerably. He must replenish his body's supply of water as often as possible or else he dehydrates rather easily.
