As Leon sat upon a bronze throne over looking a dark eerie looking sunken city, the buildings them selves all half submerged and the skeletons of countless people littered the streets, most of the maggot ridden corpses still scared stiff in fear of there impending doom. Raising a glass he sipped at his drink and sighed, it had been a necessity, these people had given there life’s for his beloveds preservation and when she was resurrected they too would taste a type of freedom, although he was a necromancer Leon had never used his powers on the citizens of Polaris, they where loyal people and he had protected them for the years the war raged never questioning the orders the higher knights and even the king had given him, but his wife who was staying in the human capital had paid the price of his naivety and so Polaris sank to the depths and his beloved was entombed in a bubble under the temple keeping her body fresh for her resurrection. the people ether dieing or caught in the bubble surrounding the temple in the town centre, the survivors after time grew to except there fate agreeing with Leon that the world was sick and he had sunk the city to save them from the corruption of the living.
As the survivors had moved into the massive citadel that lay next to the temple leaving the bodies of the dead to have the city, they after time and seclusion began to believe Leon was a deity and so his word became law as the followers now lived as zealots loyal to Leon and his mission never leaving the citadel and because of the bubble they never needed food or water nor did they age they where safe in the citadel only ever visiting the temple thru the connecting tunnel to pray for lady Julia and her resurrection. In leon’s vision of the future she would be queen of Polaris just as Leon would be the king and now due to the belief in his power and conviction there loyalty was complete.
but recently he had been caught in a spell that had angered him, although only his trusty minion nun was the only one who had seen him, it still angered him, humiliation was not an easy concept to deal with it left a fettering aftertaste of failure and disappointment, a shackle of humiliation to be sure but for now it would be forgotten. He had to find this shinobi and get the sword, only then would he be free to raise his beloved and restore Polaris to it former glory.
Turning he stood and looked at the 5 men before him they all had a reason for being brought here and even though he had not located the shinobi yet he had been busy since the incident in the shinobi capital. looking at them all he smiled, there was nun a shinobi who believed his split persona had actually created him, there was Asukai a lightning quick samurai with a short fuse and a unshakable thrust for battle, then there was hyro he too was a samurai he created fire threw his blade but he was a silent man hardly talking at all, then there was Alexander a former knight and escapee of the prison outbreak in Rahn and finally a man who had no name at present his undead general the former general to a samurai warlord who had ruled the eastern part of the ancient samurai kingdoms, he had brought these people together through various means, nun served because he needed something, Alexander needed help removing a blood curse and Asukai wanted the chance to fight the greatest fight of his life, the undead one all be it he had free will but without Leon he would wither unto nothing also the dead samurai also respected strength and Leon had that and then there was hyro a samurai who owed him his life and as such was honour bond to protect him, placing a hand on his sword he smiled and said
“gentlemen we are here for various reasons but you all share my vision of the future of Polaris, I have granted you all places in its newly restored greatness but you have all swore a blood oath to me and are failure is not an option,”
Turning to them one by one he said
“Nun joins us because he felt I could lead him to his creator, hyro owes me a blood debt, Asukai joins us for the chance of greatness and Alexander needs to have his curse removed we all have are agendas but we share one thing, my vision of the future, a kingdom of order and through are actions and deeds It shall come to pass. just as the seasons change we will have are glorious moment of bliss and happiness, you know for that to happen first we need the sword and that can be traded for what I require and when I have that are mission will start to come to pass, but first I need to find the sword this shinobi has eluded us far to long, but know thanks to the items you have gathered since are meetings we can find where this rat hides and get what we require. And when we get that are quest will be near completion well done my Libitus”
Walking over he emptied the small bag of items, a skeletons hand, an eye ball, an ancient mask, a rusty old sword, a dull red gem and a bright blue gem. Placing each of them in a circle he smiled and removed his shirt, as red letter’s began to skitter across his chest he laughed and said
“Found you shinobi”
with that he turned and walked over to the first pot removing the eyeball and walking toward the dead samurai, thrusting forward he ripped the samurai’s eye out before shoving in the new one smiling, he said
“This eye will help you to control my undead legions as there general”
Turning he walked on to the next pot removing the mask and throwing it at hyro saying
“Wear this it will help you forget the past”
Removing the other items one by one the blue gem he put in his pocket, the skeleton arm he gave to nun and the sword to Alexander turning to Asukai he said
“Catch”
Before throwing him the red gem, after doing this he sat back in his chair, finished his drink and said
“ my friends all these items may have been used for my locating spell but they also have other qualities, the gem will help you stay unnoticed by normal people Asukai the skeleton hand when melted and consumed will help you with your books and the sword Alexander will serve you as it did its former master, Now my Libitus is there any questions”

Nun accepted the hand with a slightly confused expression, though it went un-noticed under his mask. He was supposed to liquefy the bones and consume them, but he had no real idea of how to do that. He could animate the appendage, or imbue it and make it a wraith weapon, but he had no method of turning it into a liquid. He thought he could burn it to ash then add it to water, but that might destroy any power that the morbid gift held. With no other choice he turned to Leon.
"How can I turn bone into liquid, I do not have such a power?"
His question held genuine confusion and meant no insult as he was simply curious. He also wondered how it was to help grant him knowledge from books, but was grateful, for it would mean he would be closer to his goal of reviving Kanton.

The ground seemed to rock under his feet his resurrection had left him dazed and confuesed despite being able to comprehend every thing that was being said to him his memory was patchy and incomplete, But key words seemed to jolt his mind images seemed to reel and fade battle lines a forge and then gone again like a jigsaw puzzel without a box and some missing pices that may never be added, Standing there with four others that stood before the instrument of his resurrection Leon.
He gave no mind to them but the words of the conversation swelled around his mind as though he was transfixed by leons words as he pondered what was going on looking at his hands nothing but bone and rotting flesh, Clenching his hands in to fists the sound of the ancent leather creaked in his ear when he released his hands from there fist form the rotting fleash had advanced down his fingers slightly it seemed that his decrepited and tainted form was regenerating to its old living self or at least he hoped thats what was happening.

As the words rolled off leons toung more images flashed and swelled in his mind, Several people in greeting him with great honorific's a woman with scars down her back which removed parts of a dragon tatoo where the skin had grown back, An old man who he felt he should know the name of standing over a table covered in unit markers dictating the corse of the battle and a broken battle field surounded by enemys blood obstucting his vison and a deep feeling of rage and hatred as the vision passed the feelings stayed with him for just a moment longer. As leon contiued to talk to the rest of the group about there reasons for being there his mind dwelled on the feelings and the old man that he had great pride and respect for the tast of blood came and went.
Pondering on the mans name it startled him to realise he did not know his own name more memorys flased as though called forth from the deep resseces of his mind like a nightmare long and forgotten of meny more people, He knew some of these faces had names others did not though the breathed meany names some there own he could not find one that stuck to him self some names brought sorrow some anger and one brought longing shifing what was left of his toung in scilent speech saying the names to him self in his head frustration filled him as he could not find his own name, Glancing up to see leon stading right in front of him leons hand rased in attack yet he could not bring him self to defend him self in one blindinly quick move leon had snached his left eye from his skull, Though he could sence the damage his sences seemed slow and slugish in even regerstring the pain that should of been screaming at him just as quickly Leon shoved a new eye in the emptiy socket, It spun in place turning to face the right direction thick black blood from it's suroundings ran down his face beneath the eye.

The word general span in his mind a name he knew all to well spun from it as well as years of his life fell in to place years spent under the direction of that old man tactics battle field formations, Tasting the name in his mind he was sure that it was his own lord General Zhou Quan of the ever victorious armys of the empier it filled him with pride he knew deep inside that he had earend that rank with his own blood and sweat he had not been born in to the rank the tast of blood filled his sences again, The pride in that name straitend his back in to the poster better sutied the rank of general old bones clicked in his back and neck the eye that had been given to him by Leon seemed to spin in respons as his vision in that eye returened it felt strange as though he could see more than what was infront of him.
"How can I turn bone into liquid, I do not have such a power"
came the voice of the one named nun.
Zhou Quan spoke in a calm flat vioce,
"A pestal and morter would work to powder the bone and then you could add hot water to help you consume it just like you would with the medicine from rino horn." He may of spoke out of order pherhaps Leon wanted to answer the question but with a name he felt he had more complete and had more drive.

Catching the mask with his right hand, Hyro looks at the mask.
“Wear this it will help you forget the past”
Leon said. Hyro Nodded slightly, moments before he puts the mask on. He fells nothing but pure evil, Hyro thought about screaming in fear, but he didn’t thinking what his master might think so he holds his tongue. As he puts on the mask, he fells the evil from the mask consuming his body as he stands there with the strangers he has just met.

He walked back and sat down in his throne, smiling he watched them converse about nun’s gift, listening to them talk getting a feel for them all, while they where loyal he always liked to know what made people tick, it was his one true hobby, perhaps a weakness but a useful one nether the less and it had on occasion proved very helpful. Standing he said
“Its ok Zhou, all I require is that you gentlemen follow me, it is time to see the sleeping queen and pay are respect before we hunt this shinobi down.”
Then he began Walking slowly toward the door that led to the passage to the temple that housed his beloved, his feet making hardly any noise as they moved and his robes trailing on the cold metal floor, pushing the door open he then walked along the corridor, all but his libitus bowing before him as he walked toward the temple. The walls all gleamed and appeared almost holy, the gold walls littered with beautiful paintings mostly of Leon and his sleeping wife after all to these people he was king.
As he approached the last set of doors that lead to the temple he said
“It’s amazing don’t you think?”
Turning to his following compatriots he then continued
“It truly is, to think how far we have come and now you my new compatriots will see my queen for the first time.”
With that he opened the door and walked though into a massive room, the stain glass windows and tapestries inscribed on the wall all adding to the glory of this truly beautiful room, and in the centre of the room a blue bubble of energy and inside that the still sleeping Julia. Walking closer he kneeled on one knee and said
“Bless us my love, let are blades lead to the path of justice and travel the road with the least bloodshed.”
(sorry its a tad late, we knocked down a wall in my house on sunday and tidying up has been a pain.)
